Manicube Redesign

A disruptor in the self-care space. Manicube sought to improve the lives of in-office employees and staff. Appointments could be booked for in-office visits, or provided to staff as a company-subsidized work perk. Their long term goal was to provide DTC services, providing real time convenience.

My time at Manicube was spent focusing on the redesign of their consumer-facing website which served as an educational tool for customers and an entry-point for the brand experience. An internal dashboard would be needed to help manage a growing business, with the ability to handle appointment booking, schedule changes, and workforce management. Manicube was eventually acquired by Elizabeth Arden / Red Door Spa.

Lead UI/UX Design and Art Direction

Inspiration took shape from tastefully art directed food photography, trending product photography and nuances of the beauty sector. Typographic selection focused on font pairings that would capture a bold yet approachable and sophisticated aesthetic, with range to help capture different tonalities as needed.

Leveraging bootstrap UI components, the team was able to rapidly build out the management-facing portal that connected to the web app used by the on-site staff who performed services.
